Booking and appointments

Choosing and booking an appointment

Do I need a referral?

A referral is generally not required for a private physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology appointment.

A referral, plan, claim details or prior approval may be required for Medicare rebates, DVA, WorkCover, SIRA, CTP and some NDIS services. Call if you are unsure.

How do I book Moorebank?

Use the clinic’s existing Halaxy booking page for Moorebank. Hadi Youssef also has a direct Exercise Physiology booking link.

How do I book Prestons?

Call MediPharm Medical Practice reception first on 02 8784 3888 to confirm a Prestons appointment with Riva Maty or Simon De Biasi.

Healthengine can be used as a secondary availability check. Physiotherapy times may not appear online; call reception if none are shown.

How long is an appointment?

Most standard physiotherapy consultations are approximately 30 minutes. Appointment length varies by service and clinical need. Longer appointments may be used for some assessments, reports or complex services; confirm the appointment type when booking.

Fees and rebates

Private payment, HICAPS and Medicare

How much does an appointment cost?

Fees vary by service and appointment type. For Moorebank, call 0482 047 813 or check the relevant Halaxy option. For Prestons, call MediPharm reception on 02 8784 3888. Confirm the current fee before attending.

Can I claim private health insurance through HICAPS?

HICAPS is available for eligible services. Your rebate depends on your health fund, policy, extras cover and remaining limits. Bring your health-fund card or app and confirm cover with your insurer.

Do you accept Medicare referrals?

One Stop Physio accepts eligible GP allied-health referrals. One Stop Physio is a private clinic: payment is made at the appointment and an eligible Medicare rebate may then be claimed. Bring the valid referral and Medicare card, and confirm the current fee and rebate process before attending.

Are appointments bulk billed?

Do not assume that an appointment is bulk billed. One Stop Physio is a private clinic and its published Medicare information states that payment is made at the appointment, with an eligible rebate claimed afterward. Ask the team about the current fee and any out-of-pocket cost before booking.

Funded and claim-based services

NDIS, DVA, WorkCover and CTP

Is One Stop Physio an NDIS provider?

One Stop Physio’s NDIS registration was verified as active through 23 October 2026. Registration should be rechecked after that renewal date. Actual access to a service depends on your plan, goals, funding, service agreement, clinical suitability and current clinician availability.

Do you see DVA clients?

DVA physiotherapy is listed for eligible clients with the required referral. Call before booking so the team can confirm your referral and current service arrangements.

Do you accept WorkCover, SIRA and CTP claims?

One Stop Physio lists physiotherapy and rehabilitation for approved NSW workplace and motor vehicle injury claims. Have your referral, claim number, insurer details and approval information available when you call. The clinic will confirm the correct practitioner, location and billing pathway.

Are home visits or mobile allied health available?

Mobile allied health appointments may be available across South West Sydney when clinically appropriate, subject to the service required, your location and clinician capacity. Call to discuss the setting and support you need.

Before your first visit

What to bring and what to expect

What should I bring?
  • Any relevant referral, care plan or claim approval
  • Reports or imaging you already have
  • Medicare, DVA or private health details where relevant
  • NDIS plan-management and funding information where relevant
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for assessing the affected area and movement
What happens at the first appointment?

Your clinician will discuss your history, symptoms or functional concerns, the activities affected and your goals. They will complete relevant assessments, explain their findings and discuss appropriate care options. What is assessed or treated varies with the service and individual presentation.

What if I am not sure whether to book Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology?

Call before booking. Physiotherapy generally focuses on assessment and management of pain, injury and movement concerns, while Exercise Physiology focuses on clinically prescribed exercise for health, capacity and function. The two services can be complementary when appropriate.
