The clinic publicly lists selected occupational therapy and allied health services in home and community settings. This does not mean every profession is currently mobile or available in every suburb.

Occupational Therapy status: Mobile OT, Functional Capacity Assessments, assistive technology and home-modification assessments have been publicly described by the clinic, but no current named Occupational Therapist is published. These services must not be promised until a qualified clinician and current capacity are confirmed.

Frequently asked questions
Before requesting a mobile appointment
Which allied health professions can visit at home?
The clinic must confirm this at the time of enquiry. Public information has described selected occupational therapy and allied health services, but current named clinician capacity is not published for every profession.
Is a mobile visit automatically funded by the NDIS?
No. The support must meet the applicable NDIS funding criteria and plan arrangements. Travel and non-face-to-face charges must also be explained and agreed where applicable.
Can you provide a Functional Capacity Assessment at home?
That work must be completed by a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist. The clinic should not accept an FCA referral until it confirms a current OT, capacity, required scope, fee and reporting timeframe.
Do you visit residential aged care facilities, schools or workplaces?
These settings may require consent, site approval, safety checks and coordination. Tell the team the exact setting and purpose so feasibility can be assessed.
Is there a travel fee?
Travel and any associated charges depend on the service, funding rules, distance and agreement. The team should explain the proposed charges before the appointment is confirmed.
